Default internet connection

Sometimes, when I am at office, and the internet connection is off, and I don't know how to tell our Internal IT manager in English, while at the same time let the foreign employees understand, what's happening. Should I say the server is down, or we don't have internet connection, or the internet connection is off? As always, I'd like to have the most natual expressions.

Thanks a lot!
