Default Passive Voice

Did I make these sentences correct?

1. The door is always leave open. It should shut.
change to:
The door is always leave open. It should be shut.

2. A lot of negative events have been happened in Hong Kong this year.
change to:
A lot of negative events have happened in Hong Kong this year.

Why should make these change?

HI, Casiopea
OOPS, my grammar is really bad.....
First of all, Thanks for yours help

For no.1
It should be
"The door is always left open. It should be shut. "
right?

but I'm not sure for no.2
A lot of negative events had being happened in Hong Kong this year.
it that correct?

I find an EXAMPLES on the web

The salesman was helping the customer when the thief came into the store. ACTIVE

The customer was being helped by the salesman when the thief came into the store. PASSIVE

There are no "have + past continuous " in these sentences.

Examples [1] and [2] have BE + ing (note, BE has many forms: is, am, was, were, etc):

[1] The salesman was helping the customer. ACTIVE
[2] The customer was being helped by the salesman. PASSIVE

Example [3] has BE, but not ing:

[3] A lot of negative events have been happened.

Try,

[4] A lot of negative events have been happening.
OR
[5] A lot of negative events have happened.

For this sentence
The door is always leave open. It should shut.
The active object becomes the passive subject.
rule is :am/is/are + past participle
The door is always left open. It should be shut.

A lot of negative events have been happened in Hong Kong this year.
this sentence is Present Perfect
and the rule is have/has been + past participle
A lot of negative events have been happening in Hong Kong this year.
OR
A lot of negative events have happened in Hong Kong this year.

right?
