Hello:

Might you tell me which of the following sentence would be the correct one in a formal context?

I enjoy dealing with XXX, and I am able to inspire and lead others.

or

I enjoy dealing with XXX, and am able to inspire and lead others.

Hello José

I don't myself detect any difference in formality; only in rhythm.

So I would class it as a stylistic choice, rather than a choice based on register.

(Other members may disagree, though!)
