Default THE EXCLAMATION, The meaning of WELL-OFF and ONE OF THEM

1.- E.X. What a cake!
I am trying to say 'I´m surprised ´cause
the cake they bought it was huge´

Is it right? Should I omit the indefinite article?

2.- E.X. The streets are full of people and you are ONE OF THEM

I don´t know if that 'one of them' is used correctly here.

I mean 'You are one of those people'.

3.- I´ve been looking up the term 'well-off' in the dictionary,
but I still hesitate. Can I use it with the meaning of
´very rich´ in this sentence?

E.X. He is famous and well-off now.

Thanks a million!

Have a nice day!

Hello J.

"Yes" to the first two questions; for the third, it might be better if you said "very well-off".

All the best,
MrP
