Default Re: Business Letter

Hello Pdonn, welcome to Using English!

If I'm your PA, and you're out of the office, I sign the letter for you and put p.p. before my name, i.e.

Yours sincerely

p.p. MrP

Pdonn1
p.p. stands for the Latin phrase "per procurationem", which means 'by/through the agency of'.

All the best,

MrP
