Can you help me to change this sentences into the Causative form?
1. He has told the plumber to repair the water tap.
__________________________________________________ __.
2. The carpinter should fix my door today.
__________________________________________________ __.
3. The gardener will cut the grass next week.
__________________________________________________ __.
4. She told the cleaner to wash the windows last week.
__________________________________________________ __.
5. The builder fixed their roof yesterday.
__________________________________________________ __.
1. He has told the plumber to repair the water tap.
This one is difficult to turn into the causative because it is not clear whether the action has been done:
he has got the plumber to repair the water tap. (This is causative, but it suggests that the plumber has done it, not simply received the instruction)
Why don't you have a try at the others first?![]()
