Default Articles in the english language

In sentence stucture, i know there are things called articles....i know they are words such as a and the, however, what are the rest?! all i can think of are adjectives...

To my knowledge, there are only two types of articles in English.

Definite article: the
Indefinite articles: a & an

By the way, articles are also called determiners.
