Default pronunciation of 'carrying' and similar words

How are words like 'carrYing','studYIng','worrYIng' and similar ones pronounced? Do we always pronounce both 'y' and 'i' or do they sound like one letter in some cases?

Both <y> and <i> are pronounced separately.

study-ing, with emphasis: study-ying
