Default A small note .... please.

Hi,

Our company has terminated the Manager. My Boss wants me write a note to accounts department on Sales Manager's time sheet mentioning that he is no more in our company. What exactly should I write as a small note on his time sheet without using the word "termination".

Regards,

Sweetie.

Thumbs up Re: A small note .... please.

Hey there,

Make a search in google.com by using keyword "Termination letter"...you will end up by getting at least 100 free sources....

well Sweetie or Sneha, I would like to li'l bit more about it, I mean If you can give me a li'l bit description about the situation so I can help you by creating something which will sound as a Termination Letter...as I understood by your quote that you would not like to mention the word "Termination", However, according to the business letter writing or professional writing...the subject should be related to "Termination"...what say?

Thanks for your advise. But I dont need the complete termination letter. Just I have to write note intimating that "The Manager is no more with our company".

I just need a appropriate sentence to write on his time sheet, not a complete letter.

Regards,

Sweetie.

Well from the top of my head I can suggest few sentences,

Our manager has put down his papers yesterday…

Jonathan’s services are no longer available to XXX Company or Unavailable

well I would still suggest to go stright forward, that "This person is no longer with the company"...

that's how it works in a business or a professional life...or might be you can use "gave up" or "quit"...

I think, one of the moderators or editors can help you with this...

It is nice of you to answer my question. I have a doubt. Could you please clarify it?

In the above sentence, why it is "services is no longer" and why not "services are no longer"?

Regards,

Sweetie.

Perhaps you can just say "Effective (insert the date), Mr. ________ is no longer employed by (insert company name). Please adjust your records accordingly."
