    Wink At Around

    Dear Teacher,

Some people write "The incident took place at around or about 4 pm". I am told when "at" used around or about won't come. But some write so. Please clear me.

    Thank you,
    Murli

'at around or about' doesn't sound very good, but if you just used 'at around' or 'at about', it would be OK.

When "at " used can "around" or "about" follow. Should it not be "at 4 pm" or "around 4 pm" or "about 4 pm".
