| Re: for grammar experts "Hear" is a verb of perception, and in its basic sense is often not used in the present perfect. "I haven't heard" would imply that the question has been repeated in the past and may be repeated in the future. "I have heard the Rolling Stones live" is possible because the Stones still give concerts; in this case, however, we are talking about a once-only event that took place in the past. |
