Default Chain Business

Hello:

Imagine a bar-restaurant with many branches in diverse locations.

What would be the correct expression for such a business?:

Chain Business

Chain Establishment

Chain ......

Thank you very much.

Default Re: Chain Business

In general, it would be called a "restaurant chain."

Sometimes we say "chain restaurant" when describing a particular place; for example: "Would you like to eat at TGIFriday's?" "I don't know, what is it like?" "It's a chain restaurant - they serve steaks, burgers, and ribs. Sort of like Applebee's."
