Dear teachers, please advise, thanks!
It is said ( that???) Houyi's wife was Chang O, a legendary lady in the famous story, "XXXX". Chang O swallowed the elixir ( do we need a comma here???) stolen from her husband, and she flew to the moon and became the goddess of the moon, who has lived in the palace on the moon ever since.
Do we need the word "that" in the first sentence?
Do we need to put a comma after the word "elixir"?
Is there any mistakes in the passage?
Thanks for advising, teachers!

1. The sentence reads much better with "that". One could leave it out, but one would have to pause after "said".
2. No, no comma is needed after elixir.
3. The "who" in the last sentence is a bit odd. It tends to depoersonlize the last statement, making it almost seem that the goddess is someone else. I would place a semicolon after "moon" and change "who" to "she".

Try:
- It is said that Houyi's wife was Chang O, a legendary lady in the famous story, "XXXX". Chang O swallowed an elixir she had stolen from her husband and she flew to the moon and became the goddess of the moon. She has lived in the palace of the moon ever since.
