'go ahead with'

(to proceed, or permission to proceed)

A and B are planning to travel.

A: There are no flights out of here on Sunday.
Shall I book the tickets for the one that leaves on Monday?
B: Sure, go ahead with it.

Here is another example:
A team is planning a project. They don't know certain
things yet to be able to make a decision about the
project schedule.

Team leader: Let us go ahead with the assumption that all
the material will be available by the time we start the project.


move on to

John is leaving his company to join another one which pays him more.

Boss to other employees: John has decided to move on to greener
pastures. Join me in wishing him success in his new venture.

I hope the examples bring out the difference.
