Dear Teacher,
I am pronouncing the word "Schedule" as "shed u l". But some pronounce as "Ske" skelaton and "d ul" i.e "ske d ul".
Please clarify as to how to pronounce "Schedule".
Thanking you,
Murli
In the U.S., it's pronounced "sked-jule."But I believe that Left Ponders (
) say "shed-ule."
Still not clear. By the by who are Left Ponders? do you mean communists?
hi
by your name i feel even you are a Indian.
so how it is pronounced here is
she du le
she as "she"r (tiger) in hindi
du as "due"t
le as k"al " (yesterday/tmrw) in hindi.
hope you got me. i cross my fingers about your nationality....since i have explained it in hindi...
Murli,
As Ouisch mentioned, the American pronunciation is
"sked-jule" (ske-jool). The British and Indian pronunciation is
"she-dule".
What confuses some people in America is when Indians
mix it up and say - "ske-dule"(First part from
the American pronunciation and the second part from
the British one.)
No, sorry to confuse you. England is considered to be on the left side of the "pond," or the Atlantic Ocean.Originally Posted by EMAIL REMOVED - Send PM to This User Instead
