Default Comma or No Comma

Do I need a comma at the end of the following sentence? People often do it in two different ways, i.e., with and without the comma, and I don't know which one is correct. (Hope someone can advise me with a surely correct answer. Thanks much.)

tdol, please click "Post Reply," and you'll see the two sentences more clearly. For some reasons, when there is dot.com written there, the system automatically changes the appearance of the e-mail address. Sorry about that, but it was not my fault or mistake.

OK I see- the forum software automatically prevents emails from being displayed for security. I think you could do it as two sentences or separate the two parts with a semi-colon:
My email is xxx. Please email me sometime.
My email is xxx; please email me sometime.
Just using a comma wouldn't work as well for me.

Sometimes the use of punctuation marks is a matter of taste.
I usually try to avoid overusing colons, semi-colons, and dashes, thus making texts running smooth.

I'm not a teacher here, but I am sure (and Tdol has the same opinion -- read his post) that this sentence is incorrect -- it's a classical, wrong usage of a comma, in which you join two independent sentences without any conjunction.

Best,
Nyggus

I am sure, too
To err is human.
There are two independent clauses in the sentence and there is no coordinating conjunction.
