"Salary Range: $40K - $50K" -- this $40 is for what, an hour? I feel the K is a solution, but I have no idea what it stands for.
Best,

Salary range is 40-50 means the lowest salary paid or received is 40, the highest is 50, and otherwise the salary may be any amount within the range.
The text probably says what it refers to.
"K" stands for the value "1000". For example, when you see "kg" its means "1000 grams".
So in the case, 40K-50K means that the salary range is between $40,000 to $50,000 a year (an hour, would be too good to be true)
Hope that answers your question!
Bye
Oh, yes.
K means thousand here.
Thanks, Natou67. But why, why I cannot earn $50,000 an hour?! WHY?!!!Originally Posted by Natou67

Then, I have to learn some slang here -- gangs in Poland are certainly poor compared to American gangs, so I have to consider moving to the US.Originally Posted by tdol
