| He is "Super attractive, thanks to his air of guarded self-consciousness" He is attractive because he is self-conscious, but he trys not to be too self-conscious in his own mind. Another example: "After Italy scored the 4th penalty shot, there was an air of guarded optimism among the Italian fans in the stadium." An atmosphere of cautious optimism... from the Italian fans.
