| I've found this sentence in Time magazine and it has puzzled me a lot. "Banks have started to lend again,companies to hire and invest, and consumers to spend." Is the above sentence grammatically correct? thank you for your precious time Joey |

| Joey, please keep in mind that many news articles use short, declarative statements to make their point. They don't necessarily follow the rules of grammar and traditional sentence structure. They have a limited amount of space, and they want to make an "impact" as quickly as possible. |
