Will you have to interpret (translate simultaneously in speech) or write translations?

No it won’t be simultaneously. The thing is that I am not a beginner in English and i can speak English but translation demands some professional skills I think. And I have so called linguistic barrier. That awful fear. which make me feel like a stupid child... I know English and trying to improve it all the time spending a lot of time watching programs and reading news in internet during some free time at work and moreover more than 80% of all documentation in English... I am bit depressed about my fear, it does not permit me to go forward in my carrier.

This sounds highly specialised to me, and I would recommend having a professional trnalsator do this. However, try here for sites and tips on translation: http://www.usingenglish.com/links/Bu...ion/index.html

Read as widely as possible in the area to become familiar with the jargon and specialised uses of terms- specialised translation requires knowledge of formats and subtle meanings, so expose your self to as much relevant language as possible.
