Default A Question about an English expression.

What does "load the printer" mean?

Let the printer start? Or Put some paper on the tray?

Thank you....

Default Re: A Question about an English expression.

"Load the printer" means: Put some paper in the printer.

One can also load the printer driver (a software which relates to the printer). However, "loading the printer driver" is not the same as switching the printer on.

Hope that helps,
Doris :)
