Default Meaning of 'Next Saturday'

If it is currently Wednesday and someone asks me what I am doing 'next Saturday', do they mean the Saturday in 3 day's time or the Saturday in 10 day's time ?

Default Re: Meaning of 'Next Saturday'

It would be the one in 3 days.

A common way of refering to the one in 10 days is,

"What are you doing the Saturday after next."
