Hello Siyal Mir,

The difference between the two is that an adjective is used to describe a noun. An adverb describes a verb.

Examples:
The boy is tall. He walks quickly.

"Tall" (adj.) is describing the boy. "Quickly" (adv.) tells us how he walks.

Mary is a good mother. She works hard for her children.

"good" describes Mary, who is a mother. "hard" tells us how she works.

For a more detailed explanation have a look at this site.

Kind regards,
Fieldmouse.
