| i want to talk about somehting happened between the year 1900- 1901.(now is 2006) i am talking about the past. EX: a troop of armies invaded a country 3 times Between the year 1900 to 1901.(i think this one is correct , am i right?) | Alternatively, you could say: 1. Between 1900 and 1901, X invaded the country three times. (It seems unlikely that "a country" is correct; in most contexts, it would be "the country". Also, "a troop of armies" is an unusual expression; a "troop" is a subset of an army.) All the best, MrP |
