My name is____/I was introduced to you by my boss, Kevin. ...


What do you think? Does it sound ok if I say I was introduced to you by..(especailly when writing a business letter?)

I am looking forward to seeing your answer.

It would be better if you said:

"We were introduced to one another by my boss_________."

"You would say it this way because it was a mutual introduction. Certainly, if you were introduced to him then he had to be introduced to you. That is why you would say "We were introduced......"

In the body of the letter, I don't see the need to give your name as it's at the bottom of the page, and I agree with Jackie about 'we were introduced'.
