Default Something’s jarring.

Please, tell me if the following sentence is OK:
She thinks boxing is as dangerous a kind of sport as wrestling.
TIA.

It is not completely wrong, but there are better ways to say it.

a) She think boxing is as dangerous a sport as wrestling.
b) She thinks boxing is a type of sport as dangerous as wrestling.
c) She thinks boxing is the type of sport which is as dangerous as wrestling.

I prefer a) because I think of boxing and wrestling as individual sports - not types of sports - and that they are so similar that to call them different types is not really accurate. If you do think of them as different types (perfectly reasonable) then I think c) is better than b).

I think other people will have different preferences.
