Default tenses once more :-)

Hello,

could you help me with tenses again Which tense is correct in the following sentece and how would other tenses change its meaning:

The company in which I act as the executive realizes complex works in the area of landscaping.

Is simple present tense correct? Or should I say "in which I have been acting as the executive", because the function started in the past and continues up to now?

Thank you very much.

Hanka

Hello, Hanka,
To my mind, the Present Simple is OK. The Pr Perf Cont would imply you might quit in the near future or there might be some changes in the present situation.
