Hello,
the tenses are a great problem for me. For example, if I just say "I am married", e.g. in a curriculum vitae, should I use simple present or present perfect? Present perfect is used for actions in the past with present results. Isnīt this the case? He got married in the past and is now married.
Thanks for explanation.

In a CV, you would list it as simply Marital status: Married
Hanka,
Many learners mistakingly use the Pr Perfect with married, especially when they see yet or already.
In sentences like Are you married yet?She is already married married is an attribute, it denotes the state, not the action. Similarly, Are you hungry yet? We are already tired.
Best wishes
