Excessive regional forms could make the communciation difficult over a wider geographical range.

English used without sufficient precision can lead to ambiguities.

Language that does not conform to the formats required is less likely to be well-received, so isn't good language. If it supposed to be formal, make it formal, etc.

Which is bad English. When our retarded politicians deliberately try to include as many ambiguous but vaguely-positive-sounding words in their drivel (usually exclusively moronic terms, like 'democracy, community, progressive, outcome-driven, initiatives, proactive, progressive.... I'll stop now before anyone is violently sick;)) they honestly believe the listener thinks 'what a positive-sounding fellow/lady, I must vote for them', whereas in reality the listener thinks 'what a patronising, retarded little ****!', so the politician is using bad English because the transmitted message is the opposite of what is intended.
