Default Technical term????

Does anybody know the technical term for the process of queueing snake like fashion in a post office etc.?

I'd just use 'queuing'. We have 'Indian file'for when one person stands behind the next if that helps.

I have one word... ANNOYING

No matter what country you go to there is always a long line at the post office.
