fortnightly / biweekly meeting
Wonder if fornightly and biweekly have exactly the same meaning. If yes, what about their usage? Could they be used in exactly the same environment? If possible, examples please. Thanks!
Re: fortnightly / biweekly meeting
no difference dear. something happening every two weeks ..fortnight is British English... a biweekly magazine, she is paid fortnightly ...I associate fort with 14 nights, thus 2 weeks!
