My name is Jimmie King and I am new to the forum. I speak English and would be glad to help in any way I can. Although I'm from Texas many would not consider this to be official English. However, I can avoid all the ya'll and howdys. Let me know how I can help.

Tdol, you may or may not be aware that the WordReference Forum has this as one of its rules:

Thread titles must include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed. (Avoid phrases like "translation please", "Which is correct" "how do I say this", "I'm new" and similar expressions.)

It would be great if you could include something similar in the Notices box at the top of this page.

If you have a question about English, post it here: Ask a Teacher. Most questions are answered fairly quickly in that forum.
