    Default Re: A comma!

Thatīs a good question! In Portuguese we put a comma whenever we feel there should be a fraction of a pause before the next word, so there are times I put the comma and others that I donīt.
" In English there are many words that contain silent letters, like listen ,for example./ like for example, listen."
Anyway,I donīt know if thatīs the case in English....does anyone?
