Think of a normal conditional sentence :-

If the weather is good, we will go to the beach.

This means that if the weather is not good you will (probably) not go to the beach. Now change the sentence:-

Even if the weather is bad, we will go to the beach.

This meaning is that you will go to the beach regardless of the weather.

It is common to use the phrase even though to say the same thing for past, present and future situations:-

Even though the weather was bad, we went to the beach.
Even though I do not have any money, I am going on holiday
Even though it is raining, I am going to the beach.

I hope you can see from these examples that even if is used in conditional sentences, but even though is not. But both = regardless (of).

Hope this helps.

Even if :

Even if she saves a lot, she won't be able to afford that house.
In contrast to sentences with 'if' ,sentences with 'even if' show a result that is unexpected based on the condition in the 'even if' clause. Example: COMPARE: If she studies hard, she will pass the exam AND Even if she studies hard, she won't pass the exam.

Davy offered you a very good explanation on this topic

Regards,
