    Question I need help!

    It's a nighttime landscape filled with deep blues and shadows representing the sadness van Gogh was feeling while he was painting.....
    Isn't "blue" an uncoutable noun? Why is the blue plus "s"?

    The writer is really describing different shades of blue.
