Hello,
could you please tell me how do I differentiate references provided by a company or a client in respect of some other company and references referring to a particular company or client?
Company references, client references - do the words "company" and "client" mean those to whom the references refer here or could they also mean those who provide the references? Or do I have to say "references from a company" in the second case?
Thank you very much.
Hanka
No, they could mean the source of the reference- on a job application, say, that would be the default interpretation for me.![]()
thoroughly agree. source of reference.
