Default 2 questions about my sentences

Thank you for reading my sentence

Question.1-Is this sentence grammatically correct? I actually think it is correct, but not 100% sure.

In the true spirit of Thanksgiving we ask that you share the many blessings you will enjoy this Thanksgiving Day by simply purchasing these wonderful holiday greeting cards.
============================================



Question.2-Which ones should I use? I think it is "with" and "needy"

Keeping (to/with) tradition, Buckeye Bread Basket, a nonprofit organization, would like to assist our community this year by hosting its Annual Thanksgiving Day dinner for the (needy people/needy).

I'd say with, as this is the preposition that combines the actions and the tradition.

When one says, the needy, the poor, the rich, the wise, etc. it is not necessary (but it is also not ungrammatical) to say people.
