I'm confused about capitalizing or punctuating the words Yes and No when they appear in sentences such as:

The answer is no.

Please answer yes or no.

In situations such as exam papers, application forms or questionnaires it would be common the highlight the alternatives in some way - by Capitalisation, italics, bold font, etc.

if you want to emphasize, you should say :
plz answer No!

but the second one should be like the following: answer yes or no.
