    Are these sentences both correct:
    1-The road is bumpy from Doeville on.
    2-The road is bumby from Doeville.
    (They are supposed to mean the same.)

    Only the first one is correct. (In the second one it is impossible to tell what bumpy refers to. That is because it refers to neither the road in general nor a specific stretch of road.)
