This is a huge subject Matilda, especially when marriage traditions are changing all over the world. Perhaps a good idea would be an internet search on "marriage traditions"?
well i tried internet. but i want the members to tell about their family traditions.
for example i searched iranian customs of marriage but i found only some few links although in iran, we have lots of traditions.
for example you are spanish. tell me about your brother or sister's marriage. or ask one of your relatives about how he held his wedding party.
I am from South America. The only tradition I can think of right now is that once the religious ceremony ends, relatives put a bunch of rice in their hands and thrown it to the couple as they leave the church.
I have never been in many weddings. I am going to try to remenber more.
