Thumbs down shingle roof = ??

shingle roof is the contrary of flat roof isn't it?
could shingle be synonym of inclined??

I believe that "shingle roof" describes any style of roof (whether inclined or flat) that is covered with shingles. Shingles can be made of asphalt, wood or clay.

very nice...curious...99% of the houses in Brazil have ceramic tiled roofs such as the last picture ...
