Default Which sentence is correct? (plz help)

Among the below sentences only one sentence is correct.

Which one is correct? It seems to me that all four sentences are

correct. It is grammatically incorrect rather than semantically.

(A) The woman is so unpleasant that none of us could suffer her.

(B) This unpleasant man with his endless complaints destroyed

my journey.

(C) The house faces a very busy road.

(D) She couldn't resist his rudeness any longer and walked out of the room.

Hi juliana0403,

I believe that C is the only correct sentence from your list.
The other sentences (in my oppinion) should be as follows:

A) The woman is so unpleasant that none of us can suffer her.
B) This unpleasant man with his endless complaints is destroying my journey.
D) She couldn't put up with (or:stand) his rudeness any longer and walked out of the room.

(Erm... I am not sure about B though... --> Another solution for B could be: This unpleasant man with his endless complaints has destroyed my journey. Or perhaps... B could be correct too??)

Hi,
I agree, too , that only C) is correct. As to the rest, I think the collocations are wrong. Here are my variants

A) The woman is so unpleasant that none of us can tolerate (stand) her.
B) This unpleasant man with his endless complaints is spoiling my journey.
D) She couldn't bear) his rudeness any longer and walked out of the room.
Any other versions?
