Cool later of later on?

What is the differnce between later or later on?

ex) We will send you the rest of your order later or later on( which one is more accpectable? why?)

also, I wonder if i can say like this

Your Web service is working well. or Your Web service is operating normally,(which intend sto say your Web service is running fine.)

As always, I am looking forward to your replay.

According to Columbia Guide to Standard American English, 1993, "later" and "later on" are standard synonyms.

She`s coming later / later on this evening

However, "later on" seems to have a slightly more expansive tone than "later".

Regards,
I would say they have the same usage, but usually only if you referring to the same day. Using later on as in later on this week/month/year is ok but less common.
