| Hi, Nidhi You can use zero , definite, indefinite article and other determinatives . as well. e.g. 1. Ice-cream is my favourite. - zero article 2. I`ll buy an ice-cream for me and another one for my sister. -indefinite article 3. I`ve bought a very good ice-cream for my sister. -indefinite article 4.The ice-cream they prepare is the best one in town.- definite article The same with "ironbox", though I`d use "iron box" : 1. Iron boxes are good to keep money in. -zero article [ I think there might be better examples than the one I have already written but I can`t think of a better one at this moment.] 2. I need an iron box for.....- indefinite article 3. The iron box I got is very nice. - definite article Regards, |
