"Brother Bentley's father, Oren, had found this place sometime after the First World War, a foreign affair that had seriously done him no good but he found solitude abounding here."
who can expalain "but he found solitude abounding here" to me in an easy way? I was confused.
does that mean 'he lived there alone for a long time ' or ' he found a lot of people lived there alone'?
