Default help me.. what's the difference between "go to.. go on.. go for"

please help me.. I need some explaination about the difference between GO TO, GO ON and GO FOR..

please.. i would reaaly appreciate it

Hi Deneyanne

to go to : I usually go to school by bus. [ prep. "to" shows direction here]

to go on = to continue
e.g.
I advised him to go on studying hard if he wants to pass the exam.

to go for: it is used in the sense of go ahead
e.g.When Jack said that he`d like to change carrers, his friends told him to go for it.
