Default For when...

Can someone tell me if this is correct?

I have repaired the damages for when she took her anger out on the furniture.

I know that "from" would sound better, but I want to know if that is still correct. You can say "I repaired the damages for her taking her anger out on the furniture", but I would like to know if the above sentence in itself is correct.

I wouldn't use 'for' and I would use 'damage' uncountably.
