meanings of some idioms

could anybody tell me what's the meanings of some idioms written below as i couldn't find them in the idioms dictionnary:
1-get it off your chest.
2-be up to your eyes in it.
3-give someone the elbow.
4-let your hair down.
5-put your finger on it.
6-give someone the cold shoulder.

Unload a problem that bothering you by talking it over with someone.

2-be up to your eyes in it.
Be extremely busy.

3-give someone the elbow.
Poke someone with your elbow on/in some part of the body.

4-let your hair down.
Relax, have fun, don't be stodgy and so upright.

5-put your finger on it.
Describe something accurately.

6-give someone the cold shoulder.
Literally, turn away from someone, ignore them.

I agree with RK except give someone the elbow means to literally or figuratively push someone out of your way, or prevent them from getting ahead of you.

Tom was going to present his report, but Mike gave him the elbow and ended the meeting early.
