please tell me as which sentence is correct from the following sentences.
i) we mutually handed/took over the office of the institution on 10/08/2006.
ii)we have mutually handed/took over the office of the institution on 10/08/2006.

please explain the following two expressions.

"to make a melodramatic show of" and "unglazed windows"

for the first two choices, 1 is correct.You must use the simple past since we know when the action happened (10/08/2006)

"to make a melodramatic show of" means to overreact...and "unglazed windows" means the windows have no panes...I think...
