    Question which is right?

    which is right -
    some of them don't or some of them doesn't!
    I think that first is right, but not sure.

    The word some is always treated as a plural.

    Some don't....
    Some are...
    Some were...

    Yes, I'd agree that "some of them" requires a plural verb.

    "Some of X" takes a singular verb, though, when X is singular or non-countable:

    1. Some of this bread is mouldy.

    2. Some of the dialogue is rather weak.

    3. Some of it is true.
